*POST UTME NEWS UPDATE*
.
*I'm starting today's news update with Post UTME cause is my number one priority at the moment, a lot of aspirants are bemused as they don't know much about JAMB CAPS*
.
*It took me so long to release this publication cos I have been observing this whole CAPS issues, before I make any post I always make sure my information is reliable and accurate*
.
*Before I go in details, please note that AAU SECOND BATCH OF ADMISSION IS NOT OUT YET*
.
*NO OTHER ADMISSION LIST HAS BEEN RELEASED BY SCHOOL MANAGEMENTS YET*
.
*JAMB is only uploading names of candidates that were admitted on AAU portal as First Batch, they are not adding to it until Second Batch is out*
.
*In the light of this, those candidates waiting for Second Batch should be patient and remain calm while they wait for Second Batch*
.
*I DON'T KNOW WHEN SECOND BATCH WILL BE OUT*
.
*It will interest you to know that DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION is not out yet*
*DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION will be released along side with Second Batch of Admission. All DE candidates should be patient*
.
*I believe since JAMB started uploading names, you have not seen anyone that says he was not admitted by school but he was admitted by JAMB so no cause for alarm, once Second Batch is out I will bring it to your notice*
.
*All those that gained Admission on first batch should be calm, School Kofa  will update the Username and password soon, this username and password will give each admitted candidates access to their respective students account,  it will be used to access the student's course of study as well as online clearance, payments of acceptance fee, school fees and hostel accommodation.*
*This Student ID which will start with E10...... Follow by password Will be your ID throughout your stay in the University*
.
*This username and password is not available on Kofa yet, so you can't start clearance*
*You can only start your online clearance when you are given the new username and password*
.
*JAMB CAPS SYSTEM*
.
*The CAPS stands for CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEMS is an initiative by Jamb which is geared towards ensuring quality control, transparency and credibility of the admission process.*
.
*Those that were admitted on AAU Kofa site and on JAMB CAPS is showing "Not Admitted" Please be calm, there is no cause for Alarm.... JAMB is yet to upload your data on their Site that's why is showing not Admitted, is Normal..... JAMB will definitely upload your admission status later, Sometimes School will give admission and it will not appear on JAMB site and it will take time before JAMB upload your admission status*
.
*Please, if your JAMB CAPS is showing "Not Admitted" don't click on ACCEPT until you are admitted on JAMB CAPS*
.
*If JAMB CAPS state "NOT ADMITTED" ignore and don't click on anything. You will see option like ACCEPT or REJECT... ignore those options and leave the site*
.
*JAMB CAPS is for checking Admission status nothing else*
.
*As long as you were admitted on School portal, you have no problem, your admission is sure*
.
*Report has it that, most candidates saw the ‘Not admitted notification on their CAPS portal which simply means that they have not been offered provisional admission at their institution of choice, So therefore you are all advised not to click on the ‘ACCEPT’ icon until your admission status changes to ” ADMITTED, clicking on the ‘ACCEPT’ icon simply means you’ve accepted a non- existent admission.*
.
*For those that were quick to click on Accept even when JAMB CAPS says "NOT ADMITTED" I don't know the repercussion yet*
.
*Please, if you have  not been offered provisional admission on AAU Kofa site, there is no need for you to check JAMB CAPS, this is because it will display noted Admitted*
.
*For those finding it difficult to click on "ACCEPT" should visit Cafe, Mobile phone browsers hardly work with the site, you have to use computer to access the site*
.
*When School update their Username and Password and you are able to view your course, you will find out that  course given to some candidates on school site will be different from the course that was given by JAMB, this is also normal.... You will only accept the course given to you by School and ignore and the one given to you by JAMB*
.
*If your JAMB CAPS show "proposed" don't bother to click on "Accept" By propose it does not mean you have been offered Admission, they are only suggesting if they are to upload your name on Admission status or not*
.
*If your JAMB CAPS show "Recommend" don't click on accept, by Recommend it means propose, urge, suggest they are also suggesting another University for you.... Don't accept, the only time you should click on "Accept" is when it's stated that you have been offered Admission or you see "ADMISSION OFFERED*
.
*SALES OF AAU POST UTME/DIRECT ENTRY FORM*
.
*AAU Post UTME/Direct Entry form is still on sale, the form will expire December 15th 2017*
.
*For those that did Change of institution finding it difficult to purchase the form should note that School have not Approved your data that was sent to them by JAMB that's why you are unable to apply*
*Once School is about to conduct the screening exercise they will approve your data to enable you apply for the screening*
*Candidates purchasing the Post UTME/DE form now and those that miss their screening will be screened at the end of second semester examination..... A date for the screening exercise will be set. Once that's done I will post it online*
.
*There is no need to worry cos AAU will definitely conduct another post UTME screening exercise in due time*
*Computers that will be used to conduct the Post UTME/DE screening exercise is what school is using to conduct Second Semester examination, I urge all concerned candidates to be patient and wait until end of session*
